Experience one of Victoria’s largest cultural attractions.

The Great Stupa is located just outside of Bendigo, and is the largest Stupa being built in the Western world. It will be 50 metres high and 50 metres square at its base and is being built to last 1000 years.

On your visit you’ll be shown an introductory video that gives an informative overview of The Great Stupa project. Explore the exhibition centre and Peace Park with a visitors handout outlining key locations. Learn more about Buddhism, Asian culture and art. At the end of your visit we encourage everyone to visit our gift shop.

We encourage visitors to return again and again, to see the progress of The Great Stupa and surrounds.
