The Great Stupa is located just outside of Bendigo, and is the largest Stupa being built in the Western world. It will be 50 metres high and 50 metres square at its base and is being built to last 1000 years.

Experience one of Victoria’s largest cultural attractions

On your visit you’ll learn about the past, present and future of The Great Stupa with an informative presentation. View our relics room and see many holy relics from other temples, monks and nuns. Be guided through our Peace Park and view our beautiful gardens and sculptures. Go inside The Great Stupa and be awed by our painted ceiling arch and The Jade Buddha for Universal Peace. At the end of your visit we encourage everyone to visit our gift shop.

We encourage visitors to return again and again, to see the progress of The Great Stupa and surrounds.
